COYOTES AND COEXISTENCE, A PROGRAM WITH THE WOLF CONSERVATION CENTER
Thursday, March 28th, 6:00 - 7:30pm

Few species in North America are as misunderstood and maligned as the coyote. Yet many understand them as a symbol of resilience and a subject of admiration, a North American mascot and vital member of our ecological team. Please join us at Weil Preserve for guest speaker Dana Goin's talk about eastern coyotes, their history and ecology, and what we can do to best coexist with them. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the behavior and benefits of the eastern coyote and how to empower our community with the tools, information, and resources to help peacefully coexist with this misunderstood predator.

Dana Goin is the Program Coordinator and Wildlife Educator at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY, a not-for-profit environmental educational organization. She holds a degree in Wildlife Conservation and has worked in various areas around the country studying large and mid-sized carnivores including mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, and raccoons.

Space is limited; registration is required.
