February 8 - Volunteer Day at Hayfield on Keeler Preserve, 9:30 - 11:30am
We'll supply the needed tools and training, you bring the can-do attitude. We will be working to clear vines and invasive plants from trees at Hayfield on Keeler Preserve. No experience is necessary. Please click here to register.

February 11 - Tree Identification Walk at Weil Preserve, 10:00-11:30am
Take a brisk walk around Weil Preserve and learn how to identify trees by their buds and bark. This easy hike will take about 1.5hrs along a relatively flat trail. Dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes. Please click here to register.

February 22 - Volunteer Day at Baxter Preserve, 9:30 - 11:30am

February 25 - Vine Cutting at Weil Preserve, 9:30 - 11:30am
Join our Executive Director, John Baker, to help clear vines and invasive plants at Weil Preserve. Please bring your own garden/work gloves and wear sturdy shoes. We will provide the rest. No experience is necessary. Please click here to register


March Events:

March 4th - Tree Pruning Techniques at Weil Preserve. 10:00 - 11:30am
Keep your trees looking great and set them up for success in the Spring. Join us to learn winter tree pruning techniques with our Executive Director, John Baker. Dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes. Please click here to register.

March 15th - Author Talk, Slow Birding by Joan Strassmann, co-sponsored with Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 7:30 - 9:30pm
Joan Strassmann will talk about her acclaimed new book, Slow Birding: The Art and Science of Enjoying the Birds in Your Own Backyard. Strassmann is an award-winning professor of biology and animal behavior o Washington University. This is not simply a guide to birds, she looks at their environment, history, and behaviors, and how they change with the season encouraging readers to slow down and appreciate the spectacular birds all around them.  This Zoom program is co-sponsored with the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library.
