The Pergament/O’Looney Preserve, 5.4 acres located on Hawley Road, are heavily wooded with an impressive array of native trees, shrubs and groundcovers.

Graciously donated by Annika Pergament and Michael O’Looney at the end of 2015, the preserve contains many attractive and interesting rock outcroppings which can be seen from Hawley Road. The preserve is part of the Eastern Westchester Biotic Corridor and provides a connection between the large, undeveloped private land to the west and Mountain Lakes Camp to the east.

Dog Walking Policy

To ensure the well being of environmentally sensitive plants and animals, the ecology of water resources, as well as protecting the pristine and safe conditions for all visitors to our properties, dogs must be leashed and under the control of their owners at all times on all preserves.

We are grateful for your cooperation!
